The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Stormwater Individual Municipal Storm Sewer System (MS4) Draft Permit and Draft Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) to be revised and re-issued. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the draft permit may submit comments to Jeanette Powell (Attn: DEMLR Stormwater Program) during the public comment period. Written comments may be submitted to the address at end of this message.
All comments received through February 27, 2022 will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions.
The following facility has applied for renewal of their NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location in Chowan County
- The Fund for Sandy Point, LLC that discharges to Albemarle Sound and tributaries within the Pasquotank River Basin
All comments should reference draft stormwater management plan and permit both associated with number NCS000517.
