The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Stormwater Individual Permit to be issued. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the draft permit may submit comments to Brianna Young (Attn: DEMLR Stormwater Program) during the public comment period. Written comments may be submitted to the address at end of this message.
All comments received through December 20, 2023, will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions.
The following facility has applied a new NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location in New Hanover County:

North Carolina State Ports Authority, PO Box 9002, Wilmington, NC 28402-9002 has requested new permit NCS000174 for the Port of Wilmington in New Hanover County. This facility discharges to the Cape Fear River in the Cape Fear River Basin.
All comments should reference permit number NCS000174.
