The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Stormwater Individual Permit to be issued. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the draft permit may submit comments to Brianna Young (Attn: DEMLR Stormwater Program) during the public comment period. Written comments may be submitted to the address at end of this message.
All comments received through December 20, 2023, will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions.
The following facility has applied a new NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location in Rowan County:

SDC, LLC, 7401 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28147 has requested new permit NCS000591 for the SDC 26, LLC facility in Rowan County. This facility discharges to unnamed tributaries to Withrow Creek and Second Creek (North Second Creek) in the Yadkin Pee-Dee River Basin.
All comments should reference permit number NCS000591.
