Public Comment Period Opens: MS4 Permit Renewals Statewide

PUBLIC NOTICE
Public notice is hereby given that the N.C. Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources intends to renew 75 municipal separate storm sewer system (MS4) discharge permits statewide. Public comment or objection to the draft permit(s) is invited. All comments received prior to Jan. 31, 2017 will be considered in the final determination regarding permit renewal and permit provisions. 

APPLICATIONS
The owners of 75 municipal storm sewer systems (MS4) from across North Carolina have applied to renew National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System, or NPDES, permits to discharge stormwater from storm sewer systems.
