PUBLIC NOTICE
Public comment period for 15A NCAC 02L .0400 and Section .0500
The N.C. Environmental Management Commission is seeking public comment on 15A NCAC 02L .0400 Rules (Risk-Based Assessment and Corrective Action for Petroleum Underground Storage Tanks) and 15A NCAC 02L .0500 Rules (Risk-Based Assessment and Corrective Action for Petroleum Releases from Aboveground Storage Tanks and Sources). The public is encouraged to submit comments on the proposed rules at a public hearing planned for Jan. 8, 2019 and/or via email or postal mail to N.C. Division of Waste Management. All comments received by Feb. 15, 2019 will be considered in the final recommendations regarding proposed actions to the rules. The proposed rules and related documents are available online at https://deq.nc.gov/permits-regulations/rules-regulations/proposed-rules.
