Public comment or objection to the draft permit is invited. All comments received by Jan. 12, 2017 will be considered in the final determination regarding permit issuance and permit provisions.
PUBLIC HEARING: The N.C. Department of Environmental Quality will hold a public hearing to accept comments on the draft permit at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 at Leland Cultural Arts Center, 1212 Magnolia Way, Leland, N.C., 28451. Speaker registration begins at 5 p.m.
PERMIT APPLICATION: Brunswick Regional Water and Sewer H2GO has applied for a NPDES permit to discharge wastewater from the following proposed reverse osmosis water treatment plant: Brunswick Regional Water and Sewer H2GO WTP, 146 Gregory Rd., Belville, N.C., Brunswick County. The proposed facility will discharge to the Brunswick River in the Cape Fear River basin.
