I.    Public Notice; Individual Water Quality Permit for Toyota Battery Manufacturing Facility; DWR # 20171559 v.5 

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that on August 3, 2022, Toyota Battery Manufacturing Inc., (151 Engineering Way, Georgetown KY 40324) applied to the NC Division of Water Resources (DWR) for a modification to their Individual 401 Water Quality Certification pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0500. The activity for which this certification is sought regards a proposed Toyota Battery Manufacturing Facility and associated infrastructure, including associated internal transportation facilities, parking, utilities, local transportation improvements and stormwater management facilities. This request modifies the project by updating the proposed stormwater management plan, updating the design plans for associated utility projects, and updating the design plans for the local transportation improvements. The DWR’s proposed date of final action on the application is October 31, 2022. 

Written comments on the application described above must be received by DWR no later than 5 p.m. on September 19, 2022. Written comments may be submitted online by filling out the Public Notice Comment Form here: https://edocs.deq.nc.gov/Forms/401_Public_Notice_Comments.
