The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Stormwater Individual Permit to be revised and re-issued. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the draft permit may submit comments to Brianna Young (Attn: DEMLR Stormwater Program) during the public comment period. Written comments may be submitted to the address at end of this message.
All comments received through November 24, 2022, will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions.
The following facility has applied for renewal of their NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location in Stanly County:

Michelin Aircraft Tire Company - Michelin North America, Inc., 40589 Stanly School Road, Norwood, NC 28128, has requested renewal of permit NCS000373 for the Michelin Aircraft Tire Company in Stanly County. This facility discharges to an unnamed tributary to Cedar Creek in the Yadkin Pee-Dee River Basin.
