The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Stormwater Individual Permit to be revised and re-issued. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the draft permit may submit comments to Brianna Young (Attn: DEMLR Stormwater Program) during the public comment period. Written comments may be submitted to the address at end of this message.
All comments received through December 16, 2022, will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions.
The following facility has applied for renewal of their NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location in Durham County:

National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), PO 12233 (MDFO-07) RTP, NC 27709, has requested renewal of permit NCS000360 for the NIEHS facility in Durham County. This facility discharges to an unnamed tributary to Burdens Creek in the Cape Fear River Basin.
All comments should reference permit number NCS000360.
