The permitted facility discharges treated municipal wastewter and cooling tower blowdown through Outfall 001 and treated groundwater through Outfall 004 to the Cane Creek, a class C-Trout Water in the French Broad River Basin. Currently BOD, TSS, and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this segment of the French Broad River.
