This permitted facility discharges treated greensand filer backwash wastewater to Horse Creek within the Neuse River Basin. Currently, Total Residual Chlorine (TRC) and Total Suspended Solids are water-quality limited. This discharge may affect future wasteload allocations in this portin of the watershed.
