The facility discharges treated wastewater to the Cullasaja River in the Little Tennessee River Basin. Currently, BOD, ammonia nitrogen, total suspended solids, dissolved oxygen, fecal coliform and total residual chlorine are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations of this portion of the Cullasaja River.
