State Oil and Gas Commission Meeting Cancelled

The state Oil and Gas Commission meeting planned for Thursday in Sanford has been cancelled due to multiple scheduling conflicts, including meetings of the Environmental Management Commission, Energy Policy Council and Coastal Resources Commission, as well as a vacancy in the position that serves as support staff for the Oil and Gas Commission.

The N.C. Department of Environmental Quality will be working with the commission to resolve any administrative or scheduling issues before announcing the next meeting.
