The state’s cabinet secretaries will gather on December 19th for the inaugural meeting of the N.C. Climate Change Interagency Council. The Interagency Council was established by Governor Cooper’s Executive Order No. 80 and directed state agencies to coordinate their efforts to address climate change and transition to a clean energy economy.

“Governor Cooper has challenged all of us to work together toward a shared vision that will make us a more resilient, healthier, safer and competitive state. I look forward to working with my fellow Secretaries and engaging with our stakeholders to achieve those goals,” Regan said.
