RELEASE: Public Hearing on Draft Air Quality Permits for Carolina Sunrock LLC to be held on August

The N.C. Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Air Quality (DAQ) will host a remote public hearing for Monday, August 3, 2020, on the draft permits for two proposed Carolina Sunrock LLC facilities. Members of the public can comment during the August 3 hearing by telephone or online.  

The hearing originally scheduled for June 29 was postponed based on a request from county health officials and to address community concerns. The comment period will remain open until August 7, 2020 at 5 p.m.
