The N.C. Coastal Habitat Protection Plan Steering Committee will meet from 10 a.m. to noon on Jan. 12 by web conference.
The public may join the web conference by computer or phone. Additionally, a listening station will be available at DEQ’s Wilmington Regional Office, 127 Cardinal Dr. Ext., Wilmington.

The purpose of the meeting is to update the committee on the implementation status of recommendations from the 2021 CHPP Amendment. The committee will also receive a report on the Algal Bloom Summit held this past fall, and discuss impacts of the Sacket Decision by the U.S. Supreme Court.
