RALEIGH – The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is taking two actions requiring Chemours to address GenX and PFAS contamination originating from the Fayetteville Works Facility and affecting private well owners.
The N.C. Marine Fisheries Commission will meet in-person Nov. 17-19 at the Islander Hotel & Resort, 102 Islander Dr, Emerald Isle. The commission office will also livestream the meeting online.
The N.C. Climate Change Interagency Council will hold an online meeting on October 28 to discuss the Energy Solutions for North Carolina Act and the state’s fleet electrification. The public is invited to attend online or by phone.
