Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Air Quality (DAQ) will host an online public meeting on Monday, February 22, to answer community questions about a draft permit for a wood and railroad tie pyrolysis facility for International Tie, LLC – Project Tie, located in Hamlet (Richmond County). A public hearing will follow on Monday, March 1, to receive comments on the draft permit.
