Coastal Resources Commission Final Agency Decision Oak Island Beach Management Plan

The NC Coastal Resource Commission’s Final Agency Decision approving the Town of Oak Island’s Beach Management Plan is available here. The Division of Coastal Management will not issue Coastal Area Management Act (CAMA) permits based on the Oak Island Beach Management Plan until after the 30-day appeal period. The Division of Coastal Management will start using the plan’s rules for permit decisions after the appeal period ends around July 22, 2023.
