The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR) invites public comment on, or objections to, the following NPDES Stormwater Individual Permit to be revised and re-issued. Persons wishing to comment on or object to the draft permit may submit comments to Brianna Young (Attn: DEMLR Stormwater Program) during the public comment period. Written comments may be submitted to the address at end of this message.

All comments received through August 11, 2023, will be considered in the final determinations regarding permit issuance and permit provisions. Public comments may result in changes to the proposed permitting actions.

The following facility has applied for renewal of their NPDES permit to discharge stormwater from their location in Wilson County:

Legacy Feeds, LLC, 604 Benton Pond Road, Fremont, NC 27830 has requested renewal of permit NCS000299 for the Legacy Feeds - Wilson Plant in Wilson County. This facility discharges to an unnamed tributary to Contentnea Creek in the Neuse River Basin.

All comments should reference permit number NCS000299.
