The Town of Beech Mountain applied to renew NPDES permit for their Buckeye Lake WTP [NC0088099], 1400 Pine Ridge Rd, Watauga County, discharging filter-backwash wastewater to Buckeye Creek, Watauga River Basin. Currently Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Turbidity, pH and Total Residual Chlorine (TRC) are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future wasteload allocations in this portion of Buckeye Creek.
