Harnett County (P.O. Box 1119, Lillington, NC 27546) has requested renewal of NPDES permit NC0088366 for its South Harnett Regional WWTP, located in Harnett County. This permitted facility discharges treated municipal and industrial wastewater to the Lower Little River, a class C water in the Cape Fear River Basin. Some of the parameters in the permit are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this segment of the Cape Fear River.
