Lear Corporation (formerly Guilford Mills, Inc.) [1754 NC Highway 903, Kenansville, NC 28249] has requested renewal of permit NC0002305 for its treatment facility in Duplin County. This facility permitted discharge is treated industrial wastewater to the NE Cape Fear River in the Cape Fear River Basin. Dissolved Oxygen, Total Residual Chlorine, and Total Cyanide are water-quality limited. This discharge may affect future wasteload allocations in this portion of the Cape Fear River Basin.
