Kamet Holdings, LLC has applied for renewal of NPDES Permit NC0087700 for the Westview Estates WWTP in Jackson County. This permitted facility will discharge treated domestic wastewater to an unnamed tributary to Trout Creek in the Little Tennessee River Basin. Currently, BOD, Ammonia Nitrogen, Dissolved Oxygen, Total Suspended Solids, and fecal coliform are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the Trout Creek.
