Town of Columbia [P. O. Box 361, Columbia, NC 27925-0361] has requested renewal of permit NC0007510 for Columbia WTP in Tyrrell County. This permitted discharge is treated backwash and rinse wastewater to an unnamed tributary to the Scuppernong River in the Pasquotank River Basin. Currently, total residual chlorine, total suspended solids, total copper, and total zinc are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the Pasquotank River Basin.
