The Orange-Alamance Water System has applied for renewal of NPDES permit NC0082759 for the Orange-Alamance Water System WTP. This permitted facility discharges treated filter-backwash wastewater to the Eno River in the Neuse River Basin. Currently, total suspended solids, total residual chlorine, and total copper are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the Eno River.
