Onslow County Shellfish Lease Hearing Comment Form

Public Comment Submission Period

The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries is accepting sworn written public comments concerning five proposed shellfish bottom and/or water column lease applications in Onslow County. Written comments may be submitted through this form up to 24 hours following the conclusion of the public hearing proceedings on Tuesday, November 17, 2026.

The hearing begins at 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2026 at the Holly Ridge Community Center, 404 Sound Rd., Holly Ridge, NC 28445, and will also be accessible via Webex.

Proposed Shellfish Lease Applications

  1. GOH2, LLC (Claressa Grant) — Shellfish Bottom; application numbers 25-024BL; 4.32 acres; Alligator Bay, Onslow County.
  2. White Oak Oyster Company, LLC (Benjamin Davey) — Shellfish Bottom and Water Column; application numbers 26-001BL / 26-002WC; 1.82 acres; Bogue Inlet, Onslow County.
  3. White Oak Oyster Company, LLC (Benjamin Davey) — Shellfish Bottom and Water Column; application numbers 26-003BL / 26-004WC; 1.00 acres; Bogue Inlet, Onslow County.
  4. Permuda Island Oyster Company, LLC (Michael Davanzo) — Shellfish Water Column; application number 26-028WC; 4.26 acres; Permuda Island Bay, Onslow County.
  5. Caccavale Fisheries, LLC (Vincent Caccavale) — Shellfish Bottom and Water Column; application numbers 26-031BL / 26-032WC; 3.37 acres; Bogue Inlet, Onslow County.
