The N.C. Marine Fisheries Commission is accepting public comment on proposed adoption, amendment, or repeal of 24 rules and proposed re-adoption of 79 rules under a state-mandated periodic review schedule. The rules pertain to the phase-out of the N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries' shellfish relay program, requirements for data collection and harassment prevention for the conservation of marine and estuarine resources, oyster sanctuary changes, and readoption of 15A NCAC 18A rules for shellfish sanitation requirements.
