Pender County applied to renew NPDES permit for their WTP [NC0088820], 289 Quality Way, Wilmington, discharging filter-backwash wastewater to the Cape Fear River, Cape Fear River Basin. Currently pH, Turbidity, Total Suspend Solids (TSS) and Total Residual Chloride (TRC) are water-quality limited. This discharge may affect future wasteload allocations in this portion of the Cape Fear River.
