Game Lease Program
Select DEQ Stewardship Program properties are leased for the purpose of providing access for outdoor recreation as well as promoting environmental stewardship. All properties included in the lease program are owned by the State of North Carolina and managed by DEQ. The revenues from the game lease program are used to support program operations.
