How to Attend a WebEx Meeting

The Marine Fisheries Commission and Division of Marine Fisheries use WebEx, an online meeting service, to broadcast live audio and slideshow presentations in real-time for certain meetings.

Requirements

How to join on a computer:

  1. Click the "Join the Meeting" link
  2. Enter your name and email address
  3. Enter the meeting password (if required)
  4. Click "Join"

How to join on a tablet or smartphone:

  1. Download the Cisco WebEx Meetings app
  2. Tap "Join by Number"
  3. Enter the meeting number
  4. Enter the meeting password
  5. Enter your name and email address

How to join on a telephone:

  1. Dial the meeting number provided
  2. When prompted, enter the access code provided, followed by the # sign

Please note: When joining the meeting as a Call-in User, your name will not be displayed in the participants list. You will receive audio through your phone, but you will not be able to receive video using this method.

Testing

Well in advance of the meeting, test your device to ensure time to download any updates or software you may need.

If you experience problems trying to connect to a meeting, you may be able to find a solution using the Webex Help Center.

You may also send a chat message to alert division staff of any problems you are encountering during a meeting — however, they may not be able to respond or provide technical support.
