Weigh-in Wednesday

Share your best North Carolina recreational catch photos with the Division of Marine Fisheries! Anglers interested in being featured can submit a photo and information about their catch for Weigh-In Wednesday.

Weigh-In Wednesdays are recurring posts featuring recreational anglers and their North Carolina catches. If you would like the chance to be featured, email your photo to saltwater.citations@deq.nc.gov. Include the angler’s first name, species name, length and/or weight of the fish, whether it was kept or released, and the general catch area in North Carolina (ie: Neuse River).

By submitting a photo and accompanying information you agree to allow the Department of Environmental Quality to use it for education and outreach purposes. All photos must be submitted by the angler or legal guardian of the angler. All photos must demonstrate proper fish handling techniques. Fish must have been landed in North Carolina state waters or in federal waters immediately offshore of North Carolina.
