Small Quantity Generator

The N.C. Hazardous Waste Section created a Small Quantity Generator Checklist to help facilities understand what is needed to achieve and maintain compliance. This checklist is being updated with the new provisions of the Hazardous Waste Generator Improvements Rule, effective in North Carolina on March 1, 2018. Until there is an updated version of the checklist, please reference the Small Quantity Generator Guidance Document.

Small Quantity Generators of hazardous waste were required to submit this self certification checklist by Jan. 31, 2016. Currently, this checklist is not required to be submitted annually. It was a one-time required submittal. The checklist is now available as a compliance resource.
