Notice of Intent to Issue a NPDES Wastewater Permit NC0090131 Mill Creek WTPThe North Carolina Environmental Management Commission proposes to issue a NPDES wastewater discharge permit to the person(s) listed below. Written comments regarding the proposed permit will be accepted until 30 days after the publish date of this notice. The Director of the NC Division of Water Resources (DWR) may hold a public hearing should there be a significant degree of public interest. Box 429, Kings Mountain, NC 28086] has applied for a new discharge permit NPDES permit NC0090131 for its proposed Mill Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant, located in Cleveland County. This proposed facility discharges treated municipal wastewater to Dixon Branch, a class C water in the Broad River Basin. BOD, ammonia, fecal coliform, dissolved oxygen, total residual chlorine, pH, and total phosphorous are proposed to be water quality limited. Currently BOD, ammonia, fecal coliform, dissolved oxygen, total residual chlorine, pH, and summer total nitrogen and total phosphorous loading are water quality limited.
