Public Community College and University Annual Recycling Report

Data from the 47 reporting schools in FY 2018-19 show that they generated a total of 88,633 tons of discarded material. Of that total, 39,871 (45 percent) were sent to a landfill for disposal, but 48,507 (55 percent) were recovered for reuse or recycling.
