Written comments regarding the proposed permit will be accepted until 30 days after the publish date of this notice. The N.C Division of Coastal Management (DCM) announced the availability of funding through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) under the CZM Habitat Protection and Restoration Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) Competition for habitat restoration and conservation projects. Funds are available for coastal habitat restoration; coastal habitat restoration planning, engineering, and design; and land conservation projects that support the goals and intent of the Coastal Zone Management Act (CZMA), the Coastal and Estuarine Land Conservation Program (CELCP), and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
