The N.C. Marine Fisheries Commission is accepting public comment on the proposed re-adoption and amendment of one rule under a state-mandated periodic review schedule and proposed amendments to a second rule.

The North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will hold a public hearing on Nov. 3, 2022, on the proposed Water Supply-IV Critical Area reclassification of Teer Quarry and a section of the Eno River in the Neuse River Basin. The public is invited to provide comment on the proposal at Durham Technical Community College’s Northern Durham Center, Building 1, Room 130, beginning at 6 p.m.

Gen. Stat. § 150B-21.3A.  The purpose of this public hearing is to allow interested persons to submit oral comments regarding DEQ’s proposed amendments to 15A NCAC 01E, which relate to Oil Refinery Facility Permits.
