Notice of Public Hearing North Carolina Environmental Management Commission / NPDES Unit 1617 Mail Service Center Raleigh, NC 27699-1617 PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Water Resources will hold a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on August 19, 2025, to receive comments on the draft National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Wastewater Discharge Permit NC0004308. The purpose of the hearing is to give the opportunity to comment on the draft NPDES permit. Badin Business Park LLC has applied for a renewal of its NPDES wastewater permit (NC0004308) for its facility located at the intersection of NC Hwy. 740 & NCSR 1719, Badin, Stanly County, NC. The facility will discharge treated groundwater and stormwater to Little Mountain Creek (Class WS-IV) and Badin Lake (Class WS-IV, B; CA) in the Yadkin-Pee Dee River Basin. This discharge may affect future allocations in this portion of the Yadkin-Pee Dee River Basin.
