The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries will hold a public hearing on five proposed shellfish bottom and/or water column lease applications in Onslow County at 6 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2026. The hearing will be held in person and virtually via Webex pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 113-202(f).

Purpose: To receive comments on the proposed readoption of air quality rules in 15A NCAC 02D .0100, .0200, .0300, .2000, and .2200 and the associated regulatory impact analysis (RIA). These are referred to as the “Group 1” rules.

Purpose: To receive comments on the proposed rule revisions to 15A NCAC 02D .0401 pursuant to the Petition for Rulemaking and separately for the proposed readoption of 15A NCAC 02D .0401 and the repeal through readoption of 15A NCAC 02D .0402 through .0410, as well as the regulatory impact analysis (RIA) that encompasses both actions. These are referred to as the “Group 0” rules.
