2020 Coal Ash Closure Plans: Buck, Cape Fear, HF Lee and Weatherspoon

In accordance with the Coal Ash Management Act and after a public participation process, DEQ has approved closure plans for Buck Combined Cycle Station, Cape Fear Power Station, H.F. Lee Energy Complex, and Weatherspoon Power Plant.   Associated documents are available below. 

DEQ is reviewing the corrective action plans submitted by Duke. Within 60 days of approval, implementation of the plans must begin.
