State officials are seeking public input on proposed changes to state stormwater management rules.

The proposed changes are part of the ongoing review of all state environmental regulations as mandated by legislation passed by the General Assembly in 2013.

The N.C. Coastal Reserve and National Estuarine Research Reserve is inviting tourism-focused businesses on the coast to participate in a free sustainable tourism workshop on March 9.

State environmental regulators have issued an air quality permit for a proposed asphalt plant in Ashe County after determining that a quarry at the same site now complies with state mining and land quality regulations.

The State Water Infrastructure Authority, or SWIA, will meet at 9:00 a.m. March 4, 2016 in the first floor training room (#1210) at Green Square, located at 217 W. Jones St. in Raleigh. The meeting is open to the public.
