The N.C. Department of Environmental Quality’s Division of Air Quality (DAQ) will host a public hearing tomorrow, July 10, on the proposed coal ash beneficiation project at the Duke Energy Progress’ H.F. Lee Steam Electric Plant. The hearing will be held in the Moffatt Auditorium on the Wayne Community College campus in Goldsboro. The public is invited to provide feedback on the plan to construct a fly ash processing facility at the plant.
