In Phase 2 of the program, $12.9 million in Volkswagen funds are allocated to the Clean Heavy-Duty Equipment and Vehicle Program to assist interested parties to mitigate NOx emissions by replacing older diesel transit and shuttle buses. All applications must be submitted on the DAQ Grant Management System (GMS) website, at https://www.ebs.nc.gov/irj/portal, no later than 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on August 15, 2022. You will not have access to the Grants Management system until your request has been processed and you receive a “Welcome to Enterprise Business System (EBS) Portal” email. Requests for access submitted after August 1, 2022 are not guaranteed access to the Grants Management System before the application due date of August 15, 2022.
