Emergency/Disaster Demolition Debris

When local governments are preparing temporary facilities for handling demolition debris resulting from the cleanup efforts due to hurricane damage, the Solid Waste Section Regional staff must be contacted to assist in selecting an appropriate site(s) for staging/transfer areas.

Sites shall be managed and monitored in accordance with the Solid Waste Management Rules and to prevent threats to the environment or public health.
