The N.C. Coastal Resources Commission (CRC) Science Panel is scheduled to meet via web conference on Dec. 5 at 9 a.m. to continue its review of Inlet Hazard Area boundaries. The public may listen to the meeting by computer or phone.

This facility discharges into Gum Swamp Creek (Ida Mill Pond) in the Lumber River Basin. Currently, fecal coliform and biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) are water quality limited. Some of the parameters in the permit are water quality limited. This discharge may affect future allocations in this segment of the Neuse River.
