GENERAL AIR QUALITY PERMITS

  General permits are available for the following source types: 

• Title V Sources (in accordance with 15A NCAC 02Q .0509):  New Air Curtain Incinerator units burning more than 35 tons per day of only 100% wood waste, 100% clean lumber, and 100% mixture of wood waste, clean lumber and/or yard waste.
• Non-Title V Sources (in accordance with 15A NCAC 02Q .0310):  Emergency Generators, Cotton Ginning, Yarn Spinning Plants, and Concrete Batch Plants.

NOTE - PUBLIC NOTICE REQUIRED FOR AIR PERMITS IN AREAS WITHOUT ZONING.
