Mooresville

The Town of Mooresville submitted a notice of intent to request an Interbasin Transfer Certificate on Sept. 6, 2024. The Town sources its water supply from Lake Norman on the Catawba River. A significant portion of the collected and treated wastewater discharge is discharged in the Rocky River basin. The Town has a pre-existing interbasin transfer allowance of 9.54 mgd (max day).
