Office Locations & Central Files Access Procedure
Most of the Division of Water Resources' central offices are located in the Archdale Building at 512 N. Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC 27604 on floors six, seven, nine, eleven, twelve, and thirteen. The DWR Water Sciences laboratories are located 4401 Reedy Creek Rd., Raleigh, NC 27607.
Our seven regional offices are located in Asheville, Fayetteville, Mooresville, Raleigh, Washington, Wilmington and Winston-Salem. Regional office locations and the counties that they serve can be found here.
The main DWR Administrative Office is located on the 11th floor of the Archdale Building at the south end of the hall. Contact information for the various programs can be found at the Division’s Contacts & Staff Listing webpage.
Water Quality Regional Operations Section is located on 6th floor of the Archdale Building. The main number is 919-807-6464.

Central Files Access
Central Files will continue to keep a log of all patrons who wish to access files while in the Archdale Building. In addition, procedures to retrieve files for those working in or visiting the Archdale Building have changed. Until further notice, requests for files will be handled as follows:
Water Quality Regional Operations Section records contact - Gwendolyn Palmer (919-707-9129); She is located on the 6th floor in room 640.
Water Quality Permitting records contact - Diane Rodman (919-807-6306). Diane is located in the basement of the Archdale Building in Raleigh, room B24. You may also send an e-mail to NCDENR.denr.dwq.ipu@ncdenr.gov for non-urgent requests.
