Division of Water Resources

The central offices for the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality Division of Water Resources are located in the Archdale Building at 512 N. Salisbury Street, Raleigh, NC 27604. DWR Water Sciences laboratories are located at 4040 District Drive and 4401 Reedy Creek Road in Raleigh.

Our seven regional offices are located in Asheville, Fayetteville, Mooresville, Raleigh, Washington, Wilmington and Winston-Salem. Regional office locations and the counties that they serve can be found here.

Central Files Access

Central Files will continue to keep a log of all patrons who wish to access files while in the Archdale Building. Until further notice, requests for files will be handled as follows:

Water Quality Permitting records contact - Diane Rodman (919-807-6306). Diane is located in the basement of the Archdale Building in Raleigh, room B24. You may also send an e-mail to NCDENR.denr.dwq.ipu@ncdenr.gov for non-urgent requests.
