Surface Water Sampling for Emerging Compounds

DWR sampling of GenX and other PFAS continues both onsite and downstream of the Chemours Fayetteville Works Facility.

The interactive map includes:

  • Composite samples collected twice weekly at old Outfall 002 and analyzed for GenX, PFOA and PFOS
  • Monthly results from five water treatment plants on the Cape Fear River, analyzed for GenX, PFOA and PFOS

By default, all results for all locations are displayed, but results can be filtered by location, by analyte (GenX, PFOA or PFOS) or searched by date or result value.
