• DWR’s Basin Planning Branch is accepting public comments for the 2024 Broad River Basinwide Water Resources Management Plan (basin plan).  The deadline for comments has been extended to November 22, 2024. 
• The 2022-2024 Biennial Report on the Progress in Developing and Implementing Basinwide Water Resources Management Plans was approved by the Environmental Management Commission in September, 2024.
• Basin planners are continuing to work on the fourth update to the Cape Fear River basin plan. More information can be found on the Cape Fear River basin's webpage.
